My body has been dealing with the harsh weather changes these past few day, which sucks. All the bones in my face just throb. Hence, the weird hours I have been keeping, lol.

I just capped the US version of "Funny Games" the other night and it already has over 1000 views! I don't usually expect that with films, especially so quickly. I figured I'd get more crap from posting the US version before I got that many views. But I do really enjoy that movie. It horrifys me, but it's excellent as well.

Tumblr

I've decided to add a new feature (?) to the site to help incorporate my Tumblr art in with the site. I do a LOT of art stuff on Tumblr and it doesn't usually get shown on this site because of the odd sizing and the meme style work. Plus, I love connecting with people I know online on Tumblr as well and I swear, half the time we don't even know each other are on it.

So this is my own edit of the new calendar image of Rosalie Hale. I think she looks really beautiful in it, the way that I think Rosalie should have always looked. I wanted to doctor it up a touch because I have the means to do it and wanted to see what could be done.

Caps of a few different things...

I saw "I Am Number Four" the other night and found it pretty entertaining. The action scenes at the end were REALLY fun and I liked Teresa Palmer, the beagle, and Teresa Palmer's Ducati. I did caps of the "Haven" when I found out that the show was already on BluRay. I first saw ads about it on SyFy recently and thought it was new, lol. :) So that was kind of fun. It looks really good and I like the "Colorado Kid" that inspired it. And finally, I did "Lie to Me" even though I'm not that big a fan of the show. I LOVE Tim Roth though. I think it's because I've seen him so unrestricted in films that seeing him on TV is just strange.

And finally, the new episode of "True Blood". I'm not going to go into it for those who haven't seen it yet, but it is my favorite of the new season so far. There was a lot of good stuff in this episode.

So since I am all alone and bored, I've been sitting around watching movies and TV and playing around on here. I tend to watch "Mulholland Drive" whenever my husband leaves because he cannot stand David Lynch, but I love him. So I've been arting the hell out of it. Hopefully someone else will enjoy them as well.

New Artwork
- More Than Anything: Had to art the scene that set up an enormous part of this film. I didn’t think to put the sign in until the end. I wanted something to symbolize the act or the reasoning behind it and I was going to use something with Camille leaving Diane or choosing Adam over her, but the sign seemed to work better.

- No Choice But to Die: This was kind of a rough wallpaper to create as arting a suicide scene is REALLY tough on me, as I imagine it would be for anyone. But it is a very crucial moment in the film where everything that Diane has done comes to a head and her guilt overpowers her. I made sure to include the key as it is the item that she uses at the last minute to unlock the drawer that holds the gun.

- Time to Wake Up: This film is all based up reality versus fantasy. This is kind of the moment in which the two collide and the audience is brought into reality. The Cowboy character, from what I have interpreted, isn’t really a character, rather a device. So he had to be used in this wallpaper because he is a large part of Diane’s mind. If you notice, you’ll see the scene with Betty and Rita is light and in black and white. Since it is part of the fantasy, I found it important to make it contrast with reality, so I made it black and white versus color.

Hi everyone,

Just a real life update along with some site stuff - Mom is home! She's still sick, but she's out of the hospital, which is SO nice.

My husband is out for a guys weekend until Monday, so I'm doing the same thing I always do when he's gone and basically revert back to a teenager. Sit up, watch TV, never eat unless I'm eating crappy food, and sit on the computer doing everything. I'll probably be up for the next 24 hours.

One thing that I think is really nice is that I got a mention on the site, io9. It's a True Blood article they used some caps from the site. But the cool thing? They credited the site! Is it totally wrong that I get excited about this because of all the thieves and those who don't credit out there? Still, I appreciate it. Thanks to Crystal for pointing it out cuz the odds of me finding it out any other way would be pretty slim...

And finally, I capped "Mulholland Drive". I LOVE that film! It's so good and I love the story. If you're like me, it's the BluRay that I capped, so check it out! :)
